![]() ![]() If your Opera passwords don't show up in the other Chromium-based browser, in Opera, goto the URL opera://settings/passwords, click the 3 dots to the right of "saved passwords", and export your passwors to a CSV file. Then, you will have copied your whole Opera profile folder to that other Chromium-based brower and that browser will use all that it can from Opera. Then, copy the "Cache" folder in "AppData\Local\Opera Software\Opera GX Stable" to the "Default" folder. So, if you delete everything in the "User Data" folder for a typical Chromium browser, you can create a folder in it named "Default", copy over all the files and folders in the "AppData\Roaming\Opera Software\Opera GX Stable" folder that should go in that "Default" folder, and copy the rest of the files and folders into the root of the "User Data" folder. Now, in Opera GX, which is also Chromium-based, goto the URL opera://about, take note of the "profile" and "cache" paths, and close Opera. You have your main files and folders in the root, with one of the folders being the profile folder named "Default" (with other folders for your other named profiles if you created any extra profiles), which also has a "cache" folder in it. You'll see that all those Chromium-based browsers have the same "User Data" folder structure. Then, go one level up to the "User Data" folder. Goto the URL chrome://version in Brave or Chrome or Vivaldi or Edge or regular Chromium, take note of the "profile" path, close the browser and view the profile folder in Windows Explorer. If no browser detects Opera GX no matter what you try, you can read the following (which is simple when you actually do it). Rename "C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\Opera Software\Opera GX Stable" to "Opera Stable". ![]() If Brave's importer isn't detecting Opera GX, you can try this: ![]()
